1 – Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar kills the bacteria that helps clog your pores and balances your skin’s pH levels, keeping any more from growing. Mix with a bit of water and you have a great facial scrub!
2 – Honey & Cinnamon
Two tablespoons of honey and one of honey create a paste with amazing antimicrobial properties. Use this like a mask and let sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing.
3 – Egg Whites
Egg whites have tons of proteins and vitamins that help replenish your skin’s health and rebuild dead cells. They soak up excess oil as well. Separate the whites from the yolks and use 2 to 3 in a mix as a face mask for 20 minutes.
4 – Papaya
Papaya also removes dead skin cells, oil, and lipids, leaving your skin much smoother. The papain enzyme also gets rid of the inflammation that makes acne appear so raw. Rinse with water first and then leave the mashed up papaya on for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing again.
5 – Oranges
With vitamin C and citric acid, oranges make for a fantastic astringent. Grind up some peels and add water to create a paste that you’ll then use for as much as 25 minutes.
